Terms & EULA

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User" or "you") and Renewal Radar ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Renewal Radar mobile application ("App") and any associated services, including premium subscription features ("Services").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

1. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

2. Subscription Terms

2.1 Free Tier

The App offers a free tier that allows you to track up to 10 items. No payment is required for the free tier.

2.2 Premium Subscription

Renewal Radar Premium ("Premium") is available as an auto-renewing subscription with the following options:

• Monthly Subscription: Billed monthly at the current subscription price
• Annual Subscription: Billed annually at the current subscription price

2.3 Premium Features

Premium subscribers receive access to:

• Unlimited item tracking
• iCloud synchronisation across devices
• PDF export functionality

2.4 Subscription Pricing

Current pricing is displayed in the App prior to purchase. Prices are in your local currency and may vary by region. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect active subscription periods.

3. Payment and Billing

3.1 Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. By subscribing to Premium, you authorise Apple to charge the applicable subscription fee to your Apple ID account.

3.2 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

3.3 Managing Subscriptions

You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings:

1. Open the Settings app on your device
2. Tap your name, then tap Subscriptions
3. Select Renewal Radar Premium
4. Choose Cancel Subscription or modify your plan

3.4 Free Trial

If offered, any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a Premium subscription.

4. Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies. To request a refund:

1. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
2. Sign in with your Apple ID
3. Select the subscription purchase
4. Follow the instructions to request a refund

We do not have the ability to process refunds directly.

5. Data and Privacy

5.1 Your Data

Renewal Radar stores your item information locally on your device. Premium subscribers may optionally sync data via iCloud, which is governed by Apple's iCloud Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

5.2 Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into the App. We do not access, collect, or share your personal item information.

5.3 Privacy Policy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this Agreement by reference.

6. Important Disclaimers

6.1 Not Professional Advice

RENEWAL RADAR IS A PERSONAL ORGANISATION TOOL ONLY. The App does not provide:

• Financial advice
• Legal advice
• Insurance advice
• Tax advice
• Professional recommendations of any kind

6.2 Verify Information

All information stored in the App is entered by you. You are solely responsible for:

• Verifying the accuracy of all item details
• Confirming renewal dates with your actual providers
• Making timely payments to your service providers
• Reviewing the actual terms of your items

6.3 No Guarantee

We do not guarantee that:

• Reminder notifications will be delivered on time or at all
• The information you enter is accurate or complete
• The App will prevent missed renewals or lapses in coverage

You should always refer to your original documents and contact your providers directly for authoritative information.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 No Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

7.2 Limitation of Damages

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL RENEWAL RADAR BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Service interruption or computer damage
• Missed renewals or coverage lapses
• Financial losses of any kind

ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

7.3 Maximum Liability

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SUBSCRIPTION IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Rights

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding your data), is owned by Renewal Radar and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8.2 Restrictions

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App
• Remove any proprietary notices
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Sublicense or transfer your rights under this Agreement

9. Termination

9.1 By You

You may terminate this Agreement at any time by:

• Cancelling your subscription (if applicable)
• Deleting the App from your devices

9.2 By Us

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, if you breach this Agreement.

9.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your license to use the App ends
• You will not receive a refund for any prepaid subscription fees
• Sections 6, 7, 8, and 10 shall survive termination

10. General Terms

10.1 Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

10.3 Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

10.4 Entire Agreement

This Agreement, together with our Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Renewal Radar regarding the App.

10.5 Changes to Agreement

We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Agreement.

Apple-Specific Terms

This Agreement is between you and Renewal Radar only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.

Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the App.

In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App. Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.

Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, consumer protection claims, or intellectual property infringement claims.

Apple is a third-party beneficiary of this Agreement and may enforce this Agreement against you.

By using Renewal Radar, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this End User License Agreement.
